Sony’s upcoming phablet with code name Togari reportedly will be released on June 25th. When announced, the first Sony phablet will be named Sony Xperia ZU. Quoted by VR-Zone, a source confirms the official name of the device is Sony Xperia ZU.
The phablet will have an 8 megapixels main camera. That resolution is smaller than 13 MP camera on Xperia Z. It’s because the lack of 13 MP camera module. It will come with a 6.44-inch 1080p display with Triluminos display technology and X-Reality Engine, a higher technology than Bravia Engine 2, which is used on most high-end Sony smartphones. X-Reality Engine is a post processing engine that can improve color and contrast better than Bravia Engine. Xperia ZU is powered by the most advanced Qualcomm mobile processor, the quad-core Snapdragon 800 at 2.3 GHz. It’s also certified by IP58, which means the device can survive in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
