Sony is reportedly preparing two high-end Android devices for this year with code name Sirius and Canopus. According to Blog of Mobile, certification of Xperia Canopus has appeared on Japanese government site, with model number PM-0750-BV.
While Sirius is rumored to have a 5.2-inch 2K display, Blog of Mobile also said that Canopus will use a 5-inch display like Z1 and connectivity features such as LTE, WiMAX, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, and quad-ocre Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974AB SoC, which is faster than Z1’s Snapdragon 900. KDDI will release it as Xperia Sol25, it’s reasonable considering Xperia Z1 released by KDDI as SOL23.
Another Japanese blog wrote that SOL25 is Xperia Z2 and also revealed the concept design photo of that smartphone. The picture above is only a concept created by fans, not the real device.
