Sony Xperia A is rumored to launch in the next week in Japan. Before the phone released, there are some images of the handset appear on U.S. FCC site. From user manual sent to FCC, the device with code number SO-04E and code name Dogo is officially called as Xperia A.
Interestingly, from the certification process, we can see the photos of Xperia A. Now, the photos have been deleted on that site.
From the photos, Xperia A design looks similar to Xperia Z, but it’s slightly thicker. On the back, there’s a removable battery, unlike Xperia Z, which has unibody design. The battery has a capacity of 2300 mAh.
Xperia A packs a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It’s also said that the rear camera is 13 megapixels, while the front camera is 2.2 megapixels. It features 16 GB of internal storage and 2 GB of RAM. LTE network is also supported. The dimensions of Xperia A are 139 x 71 x 7.9 mm. No information about the chip, but according to rumor, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600.
