LG has just announced the international version of Optimus Vu. In February, LG announced Optimus Vu for Korean market only, which is powered by Snapdragon processor with LTE connectivity support.
The international version of Optimus Vu only supports 3G network and will be powered by quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 chip. The rest of specs are the same with the Korean version, like an 8 MP rear camera, a 1.3 MP front-facing camera, and 32 GB of built-in storage. LG also equips Optimus Vu with QuickMemo as on Optimus L series smartphone.
Phablet market is growing rapidly at this time and LG belives that Optimus Vu is unique. LG recently announced that it has sold 5 million LTE devices. Optimus Vu is a popular device. Since the launching, LG Optimus Vu has been sold more than 500,000 units. LG Optimus Vu will be available in some countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America starting in September.
