LeapFrog, a well known company in education, announced two new education tablets. They are LeapPad 2 and Leapster GS. Both are the successors of first generation tablets. The front and rear camera resolution are increased. The new tablets have 4 GB of built-in storage, doubling their predecessors capacity.
LeapPad 2 is powered by LF 2000 processor, which is faster than first gen tablet’s processor. Although the processing power increases, but the battery life time is maintained to still efficient and even better than 1st gen LeapPad.
LeapPad 2 is sold for $99.99 and buyers will get a free music player including five free songs for learning. There are also a creativity app called Cartoon Director, art creativity app called Art Studio, and writing app called Pet Pad.
Leapster GS tablet, the successor of Leapster Explorer, will be sold with a price of $69.99. Compared to its predecessor, it has thinner design and wider display. There’s also a movement sensor on the tablet.
