Just before the end of this year, Huawei announced a new mid-range Android smartphone namely Huawei G500C.
Huawei G500C comes with 4.3-inch IPS display and powered by dual-core 1 GHz processor. It has two cameras, 5 megapixels on the back and VGA on the front. Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sanwich, the handset packs 1930 mAh battery. Unfortunately the phone is only for an operator in China namely China Telecom. The device supports both GSM and CDMA network. The price of that smartphone is 1599 RMB or about $256 each unit. It’s aimed for middle class people. No information whether Huawei will sell it internationally or not.
