Google ‘Babel’ Messenger Will Be Named ‘Hangouts’?

Messenger app service from Google most likely will be named ‘Babel’ is predicted to be announced at Google I/O event. From the information, it’s possible that the name ‘Babel’ changes.

Quoted from Android Authority, a source posted on The Verge forum, said that ‘Babel’ will be called ‘Hangouts’ when it officially released. The app has a green icon, similar to Google+ messenger icon. He also added that the service doesn’t support SMS and MMS.

This application is said to support integration with Google Now. As an example, the service can be controlled with command ‘remind me to call Lisa when I arrive at home’. In addition, it’s said that the Gmail service will get new design.
