After starting CES 2013 with the announcement of high-end One Touch Scribe HD, One Touch Idol, and One Touch Idol Ultra, Alcatel also announces a series of budget smartphones called Alcatel One Touch Pop Series. It consists of colorful smartphones. Three devices announced as the members of the new lineup: X’Pop, M’Pop, and S’Pop.
The most advanced among those three handsets is Alcatel One Touch X’Pop. It’s a device for Asia, Africa, and Middle East. OT X’Pop has a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels (qHD), dual-core 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, and 5 megapixels main camera.
The second is Alcatel One Touch M’Pop for US market. The handset comes with a 3.5-inch 480 x 320 pixels display, 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, and 5 megapixels camera. It’s running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
