ZTE Geek is the first smartphone from ZTE with 2 GHz Intel Atom Clover Trail+ processor. The same processor can be found inside Lenovo K900. Because the rest of ZTE Geek specs are lower than Lenovo K900, the ZTE smartphone is sold much cheaper than Lenovo K900.
Launched at IDF held in Beijing last April, ZTE Geek comes with a 5.0-inch 720 x 1280 pixels display coated by Corning Gorilla Glass. Inside the smartphone, there are 8 GB built-in storage, 1 GB of RAM, and 2300 mAh battery. The phone runs Android Jelly Bean operating system with wireless charging support.
As it was revealed by Sina Weibo, ZTE Geek will go on sale in China starting from July 25th, 2013. In the ZTE’s home country, Geek is priced at 1,888 Yuan or about $307. If you want to get the wireless charging kit too, you need to spend 400 Yuan more (2,288 Yuan).
