Sharp is Preparing a Dual Boot ICS and Windows 8 Tablet

Sharp is reportedly preparing to launch a tablet powered by┬áIntel Medfied processor, Intel Atom Z2460. Unlike most tablets, this Sharp tablet has two choice of operating systems, Google’s Android Ice Cream Sandwich and Microsoft’s Windows 8. With dual-boot system, users can easily select the OS they want to use.

The Sharp tablet provides up to 12 hours of battery life for normal use. It’s also equipped with a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels supporting 6-point multi touch. The unnamed Sharp tablet will be equipped with 32 GB SSD. The tablet also features an 8 MP camera on the back as the main camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera on the front. Other specs include ambient light sensor, two speakers, and biometric fingerprint reader.
