Samsung recently announced that the company has broke its own record. The record is about the sales of Samsung’s flagship smartphone. On the release of Galaxy S III LTE in South Korea at ‘Galaxy S III Launching Fiesta event’, Samsung claimed that the phone was sold 50,000 units on the first day in its home country.
That number is very shocking considering that Samsung only sold 10,000 units of first generation Galaxy S and 24,000 units Galaxy S II on the first day in South Korea. For Korean market, Galaxy S III comes with a quad-core 1.4 GHz processor, 2 GB of RAM, 4G LTE support, T-DMB, and 32 GB of built-in storage. The LTE version of Galaxy S III is available via three big operators; KT, SKT, and LG U+.
