Samsung Galaxy Note Edge SM-N915P is a high-end Android phablet with curved edge screen. The display itself has a diagonal size of 5.6-inch and a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. That resolution results a pixel density of 524 ppi. It uses Super AMOLED technology and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. A very powerful Snapdragon 805 APQ8084 Pro chip is included inside this smartphone. The chip has four Krait 420 cores clocked at 2.7 GHz and Adreno 420 GPU. 3 GB of RAM gives powerful multitasking performance. Note Edge for Sprint is only available in 32 GB internal storage. MicroSD card is supported with maximum capacity of 128 GB.

The main camera can capture photos up to 16 megapixels. Some camera technologies such as Optical image stabilization, HDR, LED flash, and touch focus are very helpful to improve image quality. Video recording is also impressive. It supports 4K Ultra HD recording @ 30fps like most other high-end smartphones released in this year. If you decrease the resolution to Full HD, you can record up to 60fps. A 3.7 MP resolution for a front camera is pretty good. This version is designed to work on Sprint networks of course, with EV-DO Rev.A and LTE support. As a high-end smartphones, it has advanced connectivity features including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual-band), Wi-Fi hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, microUSB 2.0, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, and Infrared. Quick Charge 2.0 technology on its Lithium-Ion 3000 mAh can charge the battery from empty to 60% in 30 minutes. Various sensors such as humidity, hall, temperature, gesture, SpO2, UV are also included besides standard sensors. Launched with Android 4.4.4 KitKat, this product measures at 8.3 mm and weighs 176 grams.

  1. Could the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge SM-N915P be unlocked to then work on a GSM network? I ask this because it seems to have the necessary hardware onboard. Please answer b4 i make a bad move costing me $550.00!!
