Like Galaxy S III, which has a budget and smaller version called Galaxy S III Mini, Samsung will also launch the mini version of Galaxy S4. Galaxy S4 Mini has been rumored since some weeks ago. After the pictures of the handset leaked, this time a benchmark results of Samsung GT-I9190 handset appears.
On the bencmark results, the most interesting thing is the chopset used. It uses Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960, not Exynos 5 as it was rumored before. There’s still a possibility that Samsung also uses two kinds of chip for S4 Mini like Galaxy S4, which is powered by either Exynos 5 Octa or Snapdragon 600. MSM8960 consists of dual-core 1.7 GHz Krait CPU and Adreno 305 GPU.
The results also reveal that S4 Mini is equipped with 540 x 960 pixels display. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Some connectivity features available on the phone are Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Wi-Fi 802.11n dual-band.
