Besides Galaxy S4 Active and S4 Mini, another variant of Galaxy S4 is the camera-oriented Galaxy S4 Zoom. It seems that Samsung will announce the device in the near future as the device has visited FCC recently.
Unfortunately, the Galaxy S4 Zoom’s visit at FCC doesn’t bring new information besides the cellular networks. From FCC document, it’s known that Galaxy S4 Zoom only supports GSM, EDGE, WCDMA at 850 and 1900 MHz frequency, without LTE. It’s very disappointing considering that Galaxy Camera supports LTE network. However, there’s a possibility that Samsung will launch LTE version of Galaxy S4 Zoom depends on region.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom packs a 16 MP camera with 10x optical zoom. It has a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, 1.6 GHz chipset 8 GB internal storage with microSD slot, and Android Jelly Bean.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom most likely will be announced on June 20th, together with Galaxy S4 Active and other Samsung gadgets.
