Now You Can Watch YouTube Video Offline on Android Devices

Google I/O event held on yesterday is an event where Google revealed new products, such as Google Glass, Google Nexus 7 Tablet, and Nexus Q media player. Most people focus on those devices only and forget about interesting updates Google has made to its services. One of the updated Google apps is YouTube for Android.

Usually, the app will automatically streaming video as long as connected to the internet cause it think that you want to watch the video directly. Now there’s a good news for those who want to watch a Youtube video on a place without internet connection or having very slow internet connection which causes the video buffering.

Youtube will start to choose and download videos based on your preference and history, as well as your subscribed channels. You can see the downloaded videos through small green arrow on the corner. There’s also an option to only download videos on ‘watch it later’.

For another OS users, Google said that the company is working to bring the same experience to another platforms.
