Nokia has submitted a claim to Germany court about three patent violations conducted by RIM.
Back to May, Nokia submitted another case about 45 patent violations conducted by HTC, RIM, and Viewsonic.
The Foss Patents recently reported that the Finnish company is still in patent war. Nokia submitted the details of three patent violations which have done by RIM to regional court in Munich.
- EP1474750 – ‘method and system for storing and transferring multimedia tags’
- EP08040461 – ‘method and apparatus for updating the software of a mobile terminal using the air interface’
- EP1148681- ‘method for transferring resource information’
For this time Nokia only sues RIM in Germany, but it doesn’t mean that Nokia won’t submit the same case in another countries.
According to Foss Patents, most likely Nokia will win this case as it has more patents compared to Research In Morton. It looks like that RIM have to pay some money to Nokia.
