Next Generation Nexus 7 With High Resolution LTPS Display Will Be Available in July

At the Google I/O conference which took place last week, no new Nexus device introduced. It caused Android fans, especially Nexus device a little disappointed. Google seems want to made its annual event more focused on software development than hardware.

However, Google is reportedly preparing a new generation of Nexus 7 tablet to continue the success of current Nexus 7 in the market and decrease Apple’s market share.

According to recent reports, Google and Asus are reportedly preparing the display panel for the new Nexus 7 tablet, manufactured by AU Optronics. AU Optronics is also reported that the presence of new generation iPad Mini. Display panel prepared for the second-generation Nexus 7 has a size of 7 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a low-temperature polysilicon technology (LTPS).

The slate is estimated to launch commercially in this summer or about next July and the announcement is likely to be held within next few weeks.
