A latest report from a Greece site said that the next LG flagship Optimus G2 will use a 5.2-inch Full HD display. It’s slightly larger than other rivals like Galaxy S4 and Xperia Z, which have 5.0-inch display with same resolution. But the most interesting thing is the use of Optical Image Stabilization.
Optical Image Stabilization allows smoother video recording even without tripod. That technology has been implemented on Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, HTC One, and Nokia Lumia 920.
But, the source said that the RAM is 2 GB, not 3 GB as it was reported previously. Most likely, the 3 GB RAM is only for South Korean user (LTE-Advanced version). It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC. It’s also reported that there will be no button on the sides, supporting the previous rumor that the buttons are on the back. The power button will be placed between volume up and down buttons, which can also be used for zoom in/out.
