LG doesn’t want to be outdone by another Korean phone manufacturer, Samsung. According to Asia Today, the company from South Korean is reportedly preparing a high-end smartphone aimed to compete with Samsung Galaxy S III.
From the leaked specs, it is known that the handset is LG Optimus G. The phone is under development. It will pack a 4.7-inch TrueHD IPS display. Under the hood you will find a quad-core processor with 2 GB of RAM on board. There’s a 13 MP camera on the back. LTE network is also supported. LG Optimus G will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and the latest Optimus UI.
In phablet market, LG has launched Optimus Vu to compete with Samsung Galaxy Note. LG has sold hundreds of thousands units of Optimus Vu in Korea and Japan. The phablet will be launched in another countries next month.
