Lenovo has just released its new product called LePhone S880. With a 5-inch display, the size of the device is located between smartphone and tablet, so it’s categorized as a phablet.
Although the size is almost same with Galaxy Note, the specifications are very different. The 5-inch display only has WVGA resolution (480 x 800 pixels), so the pixel density is 187 ppi. The phablet is powered by a 1 GHz MediaTek processor and 512 MB of RAM. The internal memory capacity is 4 GB and can be expanded by using microSD card. It has a 5 megapixel shooter on the backside as the main camera and a VGA (0.3 MP) camera on the front which can be used for video conferencing. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is installed on the device. It also has a 2250 mAh battery.
As a phone that made by a Chinese company, LePhone S880 also supports dual SIM card. It works on WCDMA/GSM network. The phablet looks slim with only 9.9 mm of thickness. This gadget weighs 200 gram. Lenovo LePhone S880 will be sold with a price of 2199 Yuan or USD $345.
