JXD has just announced S5110b, a new Android device dedicated for gaming purpose, to be the successor of previous gaming device S5110.
JXD S5110b looks similar to Sony PSP, but with much bigger display. It has a 5.0-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Powering the device is a dual-core AMlogic MX-S at 1.5 GHz combined with 1 GB of RAM. Internal storage capacity is 8 GB, added with microSD slot for additional storage capacity.
As the successor of S5110, JXD S5110b is equipped with physical buttons and D-pad on the left and right of the display. The buttons will help gamers while playing games by providing more accurate and easier input than on-screen buttons. It also supports to run GameBoy Advance, Nintendo 64, and Play Station 1 games.
JXD S5110b has been sold in some online shops in China. For pricing, you can get a unit for $80.
