Since deciding to concentrate on Windows Phone platform, Nokia reportedly is developing Windows RT based tablet and even there’s a rumor that a Nokia tablet will be announced together with the 41MP PureView Nokia camera phone on July 11th, 2013.
Today, a member at Windows Phone Central posted a photo he claimed as the prototype of a Nokia tablet with Windows RT OS. It features 2 GB of RAM, NVIDIA Tegra 3 chip at 1.3 GHz, HDMI out, USB port, and also a SIM card slot. The uploader said that Nokia cancelled the device because Tegra 3 is not competitive enough for this time. The clumsiness is no camera on the rear. As you know, camera is the main key selling feature of current Nokia smartphones.
Previously, Nokia was rumored working on two Windows tablets (8.5-inch and 10-inch) with various color choices like Lumia smartphones, as well as aluminum cover. The camera of rumored tablet was said to use latest Zoom technology from Nokia. The devices may be announced on next Thursday together with Nokia EOS (most likely will launch as Lumia 909 or Lumia 1020).
