iPhone 5 will have 4.1-inch display with 1136 x 640 resolution (Rumor)

The latest rumor about the next iPhone said that the Apple iPhone 5 will be equipped with a 4.1-inch display with a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels. With that resolution, the display has a pixel density of 319 ppi, which can be categorized as Retina display. It has a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The new iPhone display has a 16:9 aspect ratio, making it the first iPhone to come with that aspect ratio. With many iPhone applications have been developed for 3:2 aspect ratio, there will be a possibility that many apps will run with blank bars on each side until fixed by developers.

The iPhone 5 will come with 7.9 mm thickness, much thinner than iPhone 4S with a thickness of 9.3 mm. It’s thinner than Samsung’s SGS III (8.6 mm), but still behind Huawei Ascend P1 (6.68 mm),  Oppo Finder (6.65 mm), and ZTE Athena (6.62 mm).

Another rumored specs about iPhone 5 is the camera. It will have an 8 MP camera sensor and a 5 element lens like the iPhone 4S but it comes with larger aperture size (f/2.2), up from f/2.4. That will improve the low-light performance.
