Taiwanese company HTC has just announced Butterfly S as an upgraded version of Butterfly. It still has a 5.0-inch 1080p display with similar design, but added with HTC One’s features such as UltraPixel camera, stereo speaker with BoomSound on the front side of the phone, BlinkFeed, and a camera feature called Zoe.
Other specs are quite interesting. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 600 quad-core chipset clocked at 1.9 GHz and 16 GB built-in storage with microSD slot. The battery capacity is 3200 mAh, very big for a 5.0-inch smartphone. That’s a good news because HTC usually doesn’t equip its smartphones with high capacity battery.
No information about the availability of HTC Butterfly S for global market, considering that first generation HTC Butterfly only sold in some East Asian countries. In Taiwan, the handset is priced at 22900 Taiwan Dollar or about $767.88.
