Google Nexus 7 Tablet Unveiled

Besides the announcement of Android Jelly Bean, Google also shows the first Nexus branded tablet. The tablet called Google Nexus 7, previously known as Google Nexus tablet.

As predicted before, Nexus 7 is powered by the powerful Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor. The 7-inch display has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. A 1.2 megapixel camera on the front is provided for video calling. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a rear camera. The connectivity features are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, and micro USB port. It runs on the newly announced Android Jelly Bean.

The tablet is made by Asus, priced at $199 for 8 GB version and $249 for 16 GB version. It’s aimed to compete with cheap Android tablets like Amazon Kindle Fire. You will get a powerful Android device running on the latest Android OS with affordable price.

The pre-sales of this tablet begins today and the devices will ship in mid-July.
