Google Maps Update Removes Offline Maps Feature For Some Countries

Google Maps is the most popular maps service in the world. The popularity of Android has increased the number of Google Maps users. With the ability to use the app on offline mode, it attracts more users to use the app.

Unfortunately the latest update for this app, Google Maps 6.9, doesn’t bring offline maps for many countries although the feature is available previously. After tested, it is known that Google Maps removes offline maps feature for some countries, such as African and East Europe countries. User in those countries can’t use that feature.

If you affected by this update, it is better to uninstall it and use the previous version.
