BlackBerry 10.2 Update Will Allow You To Deactivate Camera Shutter Sound

BlackBerry 10.2 Update for BB10 handsets will be rolled out soon. It will have improved user interface, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean applications support, and BBM Channel. There are also some new features and bug fixes.

The update is said to bring significant improvement for BB10 camera app, with ability to deactivate shutter sound. As for information, the current version of BlackBerry 10 doesn’t have that features, so users must use third party apps if they don’t want to capture image silently.

This announcement is official as it’s said by BlackBerry PM Micheal Clewley himself through his personal channel. It’s a simple feature, but it’s very needed by many people because some users don’t like to capture images with sound at a quiet place. The BlackBerry 10.2 Update will also bring new notifications on lockscreen, Wi-Fi Direct support, and ability to deactivate notifications. It’s also possible that the native Evernote app available at that platform. Release date is still unknown at this time.
