A smartphone vendor from China, Beidou, is reportedly preparing the production of its latest smartphone named Beidou Little Cyclone F9. Targeting entry-level segment, this phone is estimated to have low price but great specifications.

Beidou Little Cyclone F9 has a three capacitive button under the screen, consisting of options, home, and back. Volume button and lock button are located on the side of the phone. The microUSB port is on the bottom. The dimensions are 147 x 76.5 x 9.7 mm. The case is dominated by plastic material.

The handset has either a 4.5-inch or 5-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen display supporting multitouch technology. Beidou Little Cyclone F9 is running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It’s powered by quad-core MediaTek MTK6589 chipset with a speed of 1.2 GHz. 4 GB of internal storage is installed on the device, added with a microSD slot. It also features 1 GB of RAM.

For capturing your life moments, F8 has dual camera. The main camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels and the secondary camera has a resolution of 2 megapixels. There are some additional camera settings such as LED flash, effect, auto focus, and white balance.

According to information released by www.mtksj.com, the dual SIM smartphone will be priced at 799 Yuan ($129). No information about availability outside China.
