The growth of Apple revenue continues to decline since 2010 or after introducing the iPad. A few years ago, Apple iPhone was the top smartphone in terms of shipment. Quoted from Reuters, Apple is considering to increase its revenue growth by maximizing its product lineup. One of the strategies is by producing low-end products.
According to Reuters, Apple is reportedly considering to launch a cellphone priced at $99, estimated to be released sometime in next year (2014). However, it doesn’t mention whether the decision is final or still under consideration.
Not only cheap, the phone is said to have a large display with a diagonal size from 4.7-inch to 5.7-inch. This way seems to be taken in order to compete with its biggest rival, Samsung, which continues to be the king of smartphone market.
